SSC’s subsidiary in Chile has been contracted to establish a Galileo station on Easter Island. It will be part of the sensor station network that will receive signals from the Galileo satellites and forward them to the two main control stations.

SSC is also engaged in Galileo by hosting the system’s first dedicated TT&C station at Esrange Space Center. Using its PrioraNet ground station network, SSC has also provided both launch support and routine operations services for the GIOVE A and B Galileo test satellites.
